What's the difference between this and Copper Conductive Rod?
Form. Rod is bar stock for in-house machining. Element is machined to near-final shape ready for assembly: stepped, flanged, threaded, plated per drawing. If your machine shop will finish the part, order rod. If you want it ready to install, order element.
Can you supply elements pre-plated at one end?
Yes. Selective plating per drawing is routine, typically silver-plated at bolted joint surfaces, bare at brazing surfaces. Specify in your order.
Are elements pre-brazed to CuW segments available?
Yes. Compound conductors (Cu + CuW) with brazed joints can be supplied as a single sub-assembly. Specify both the copper element and the CuW segment dimensions.
What temper for the copper element?
Half-hard is standard for most machined conductor elements. Specify if your design needs a different temper.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time varies by complexity, finish, and quantity. Contact us with your specifications.
