技术问答
关于此产品的常见问题。
When is CuCr50 worth the conductivity penalty over CuCr25?
When interruption duty dominates: higher short-circuit ratings, generator circuit breakers, capacitor bank switching, and high-cycle reclosers. CuCr50's lower chopping current and better anti-weld behavior are reliability properties in these duties. For distribution breakers dominated by continuous current, CuCr25's higher conductivity is the better trade.
Is CuCr50 infiltrated or cast?
CuCr50 is typically produced by infiltration, a sintered chromium skeleton infiltrated with copper, which gives the dense, homogeneous structure that high-rated interruption needs. Lower-chromium CuCr25 is typically cast or melted. Both meet GB/T 26867-2011 for their grades.
Does CuCr50 reduce chopping current?
Higher-chromium CuCr grades generally chop at lower current than lower-chromium grades, which reduces switching overvoltage in inductive duties. The exact chopping behavior is application-specific and depends on the full interrupter design, not the contact material alone, confirmed per order, not stated as a fixed number.
Can you supply CuCr50 contacts pre-brazed to a stem?
Yes. CuCr50 contact brazed to a copper or copper-alloy conductive stem is routine. Specify both the contact and stem drawing.
Are CuCr50 contacts compliant with GB/T 26867-2011?
Yes. Material specifications follow GB/T 26867-2011 minimums (≥7.96 g/cm³, ≥16 MS/m, ≥80 HB, gas content within limits). Material certification per lot available on request.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time varies by geometry, dimensions, quantity, and any pre-brazed stem assembly. Contact us with your specifications.
