When should I use this vs CuW Moving Arc Contact?
This is for normal MV duty, standard breaker switching without severe arc exposure. The CuW Moving Arc Contact is for vacuum interrupters and high-cycle arc applications.
What's the difference between this and Moving Contact Conductor?
This is the contact face / element (the part that mates with the static contact). Moving Contact Conductor is the rod connecting the contact to the operating mechanism. Some orders combine both as a single sub-assembly.
Is the contact face silver-plated?
Yes by default. The bulk of the contact body is bare-machined.
Can the moving contact be supplied as a complete sub-assembly with conductor?
Yes. Specify both the contact face and the conductor drawings; we braze and supply the assembly.
Can you produce to legacy OEM drawings?
Yes. Most refurbishment orders work from the original drawing or sample parts.
What is the typical lead time?
