APPLICATION SELECTION

Component Selection for Switchgear OEMs

Building switchgear or replacing a component? Start with the part you need: conductive connections, insulation parts or a switching assembly. Then compare the drawing and the required supply scope.

2. Check these details before selecting a model

A component quotation is separate from a complete-panel quotation. List what must be included, such as mechanisms, controls, wiring and inspection documents.

01 Identify the item

Existing part number or drawing; component or assembly; sample and batch quantities.

02 Check electrical duty

System voltage, continuous current and the switching or connection duty required.

03 Match the interfaces

Mating dimensions, mounting holes, drawing revision and any mechanism or control interfaces.

3. Tell us about your project

Start with the information you have; you do not need to complete every technical detail to inquire. Send drawing files to the email address below.

Selection questions

Can existing contacts be used with a new bushing?

Check connection dimensions, contact construction, insulation space and conductor configuration. Being part of the same panel project does not establish interface compatibility.

Is panel information useful for component-only procurement?

Relevant circuit diagrams or local layouts help define interfaces and service conditions. Identify the components supplied by other parties.
