An insulating housing for a matched fuse assembly, selected together with fuse length, contacts, cover and mounting support.
Technical Description
This housing accommodates a matched fuse assembly and provides its insulating structure. It is not itself a fuse or a protective device. Selection requires the fuse dimensions, end contacts, cover locking arrangement, sealing details and support interface. Establish the system nominal voltage separately from the equipment rating. The supply schedule should distinguish the housing, cover, conductive parts and fuse, with current and protection ratings assigned to the corresponding complete configuration.
