The VHL/VHLR-12 family covers load switches and switch-fuse combinations, with switching duties and coordinated protection assigned to the specific configuration.
Load break switches perform specified load-switching duties, while switch-fuse combinations also require coordinated fault protection. Start with the circuit application, then distinguish the standalone switch, fuse combination, operating mechanism and installation arrangement.
The VHL/VHLR-12 family covers load switches and switch-fuse combinations, with switching duties and coordinated protection assigned to the specific configuration.
The VHL/VHLR-24 family requires its own withdrawable interfaces, insulation layout and fuse coordination rather than data transferred from another series.
The VZF family uses a withdrawable arrangement, with switch and switch-fuse versions distinguished by model suffix and matched to panel contacts and interlocks.
Continuous current, load breaking, short-time withstand and fault interruption are different duties. Specify them for the individual switch version or complete combination. Short-circuit data for a combination cannot be transferred to an ordinary load switch.
Fuse dimensions and ratings are only a starting point. Review characteristic coordination, striker or trip interfaces and the operating mechanism. Transfer-related parameters require a clear definition and configuration basis; they are not universal protection thresholds.
Withdrawable arrangements require carriage, primary-contact, secondary-connector and position-interlock checks. Solid-insulated versions also require matching insulation interfaces. List mechanisms, earthing parts and fuses explicitly rather than assuming a common configuration across a family.
Assess circuit duties, interruption capability and protection arrangements. Current rating or mounting dimensions alone do not establish a replacement.
System conditions, transformer and protection data, fuse configuration, mounting and control requirements are also needed.
Provide the circuit diagram, load data and protection requirements, including the fuse reference, mechanism interlocks and mounting arrangement.
