A solid-insulated core assembly for switchgear integration, with switching, isolation and earthing functions defined by the selected unit and mechanism configuration.
A solid-insulated core unit is selected for integration into a panel arrangement. Complete switchgear combines primary circuits, structure, controls and verification. Establish the procurement level first, then define functional units and configurations from the single-line diagram.
A solid-insulated core assembly for switchgear integration, with switching, isolation and earthing functions defined by the selected unit and mechanism configuration.
Solid-insulated switchgear arranged in functional units, with load-switch, vacuum-switch and switch-fuse configurations to be specified separately.
Incoming, outgoing, load-switching and protection circuits require different arrangements. Unit letters or the term vacuum switch do not replace a functional description. Identify the components responsible for interruption, isolation and earthing in each circuit.
For a core unit, check mounting space, insulation connections, mechanism position and interlocks. Withdrawable arrangements also require travel, operating positions and secondary connections. Similar enclosure dimensions do not establish direct fit.
For complete switchgear, list enclosure, primary circuits, protection, controls, secondary wiring and accessories. Identify drawings and inspection documents required at delivery. Tests on individual components do not establish every performance characteristic of the assembled panel.
A core unit is part of an assembly. Confirm enclosure, busbars, cable interfaces, protection and controls individually.
Confirm the insulation and interruption media throughout the assembly; a local construction feature is insufficient.
Provide the single-line diagram, panel layout, protection and control requirements and delivery scope. Specify core-unit procurement or complete switchgear.
